Today we are presenting you with the ‘River Otta’ and this particular photo has been taken near the municipality of Skjaak!  The river starts out on the plains of the Tafjell mountains in the west, is 92,4 miles long, and empties itself in another major river (Gudbrandsdalslågen) at the City of Otta in the East. The river is very popular among Norwegian as well as international rafting crews!

Please return me to INDEX for a new picture/destination.

I can see where this would be popular with white water rafters. Beautiful scenery.
