It’s starting to be quite a few years since vi photographed Geiranger! But we’re presenting you with this picture in order to remind you and to focus on the dimensiones of this place.
Overt on the other side, the fjord turns left around a mountain side. On the lower side there are a lot of green vegetation and slightly left of center in this vegetation – approximately 2 cm above the shoreline, those of you with a perfect vision might see a small white speck? And it’s not a grain of dust on my lense, but a plane visiting Geiranger!
That really puts a perspective on things?!
Down below – diectly above the picture text you might make out a few yellow lines? That’s a dozen cayaks on a paddling trip!
For those interested in Geiranger you may se the original report here.
(Compliments of SRB)
Please return me to INDEX for a new picture/destination.
Wow.. now you pointed out the plane and the kayaks, it really puts this valley into perspective.. Wonderful Svein.. 🙂
I had to! Even then the plane is very hard to spot! But – do follow the link I have given you!
It’s really there for a reason! And you won’t regret it!
I did Svein and those pictures I just LOVED xxx
What a delightful trip through Geiranger, compliments of your photos and commentary. it’s truly beautiful with stunning views. You obviously enjoy living in Norway.
Thank you! And yes, when photographing nature, animals, birds or insects, there is no better place to live. Besides I know the country rather well and do speak the language! 🙂
The funny part (That I’ll probably never understand) is that app. 15 people responded to that sigle picture, but the number of people clicking on the link and who got to see the main report with nearly 50 pictures were only three! (3) !!!
Yes, I know! Their loss! But I really would have liked to show them this place!
Yes, unfortunately it is their loss.
