Across the Sognefjord

Sognefjorden er med sine 205 km Norges lengste fjord. På det dypeste er den over 1300 meter dyp! Her et bilde av fergeforbindelsen Manheller – Fodnes rett nord for Lærdal.
With a lenght of 128 miles, the Sognefjord is the longest fjord in Norway. At the deepest point the depth have measured  to 4306 feet. Here a picture from the ferry connection at Manheller – Fodnes just north of the city of Laerdal.

    Oh, we’ve had several avalanches in snow or mud deleting parts of roads and/or railway lines this year, fortunately without loss of lives!
