One of the latest suburban areas in my home municipality is named ‘Kleiver’, and here – only 50 yards away from a rather concentrated living area the woods await you with a wide range of leisure activities, – among them the ‘Lake Kleiver Dam’!
Here you may swim, play around or meet your neighbour to a pleasant get-together over som barbercue or other friendly activities.
I’ve shown you pictures from this place before, but not from this particular time of the year. Today we will be taking a stroll around most of this lake . . .
A sharp observer will notice that the colors of the coming fall are about to fastene its grip on the foilage across the lake ?
The banks are covered with flowers and butterflies are busy collecting the last nectar of the year.

Please return me to INDEX for a new picture/destination.
Ah, you know a second time around is always worth the rerun. Stunning scenes!
Awesome!
Thank you! ‘Tiger safe’, by the way! 🙂
The water looks very clear Svein and the meadow with the yellow flowers looks lovely.. Enjoyed all of your photos xx
We may still drink water direct from most any stream or lake in Norway. Also directly from the tap in our kitchens, but I suppose it won’t always be like that.
Not many places in the world are left that can say that about drinking water Svein.
Not many! Across the boarder to Sweden every body uses a coal filter on the kitchen tap.
In Iceland the water tastes sulphur! I would try for Scotland or the Orkneys, may be Greenland?
Yes some water in Scotland I know is good.. Most water now in the world has had the goodness of minerals taken out and replaced with chemicals…
They say in London, the water used for drinking has passed through us humans several times.. Yikes.. an unpleasant thought.
I really follow you down that road! 🙂
😀
Beautiful scenery and speaking of fall, the leaves in my neck of the woods are already starting to change. I love it! 😃
Well, yes, so do I, but – I don’t much like the weeks thereafter 🙂 But that can’t be helped!
And people do!:-) This is only 50-100 yards away from their homes.
Beautiful pictures! The water looks like glass and the reflection is stunning. I could imagine sitting and knitting with that view for hours.
