Some of you may have registered that I’ve been gone for a few days? Among other things I’ve had the opportunity to cross over the mountain ridge ‘Tunhovdaasen’ located between Nore & Uvdal and the settlement named ‘Nesbyen’. The weather was fine and hopefully you’ll find the pictures taken enroute acceptable?
The first pictures were taken by ‘Lake Tunhovdtjoenne’ where a couple of cabin owners have found their private place in ‘heaven’ 🙂
.
.
From there I moved on across the hill towards ‘Lake Buvatn’
.
Også rundt Buvatn finner man nok en del hytter skjult i terrenget.
Also here around Lake Buvatn there are a few cabins to be found hidden into the terrain.
Not very far from Lake Buvatn I’m passing ‘Lake Synstevatn’ which are lying slightly lower the the first (but not much)
Men – jeg skal videre.
But I’m moving on . . .
Actually I’m not quite certain that the name of the river is correct up here, but this is where ‘River Rukkjedoela’ starts out and that’s the name a bit further down the valley.
Jeg håper dere likte bildene fra Tunhovdåsen?
I hope you liked the pictures from Tunhovdaasen?
(Compliments of SRB )
Please return me to INDEX for a new destination.
Your nature over there is just unreal!!! Gorgeous shots!!! I just feel like I could breathe that air!! Can we see the cabins too?
You can, but first you’ve got to get your sorry ass over here! 😀
Ha! Love it!! I WANT to get my sorry ass over there! Actually, I am rather thinking of saving up to do just that!!
You could try flying with Norwegian or Ryan Air. They don’t cost too much. What will cost you is hotel accomodation locally moving around the countryside, but there are ways around that as well if you aren’t too fussy about it!
Not a fussy person except for Air Conditioning in the summer here!
You’d hardly be needing that here abouts. We just open the windows, but we use somewhat more than ordinary blankets. Sleeping with open windows all year round – even at 20-25 deg below zero.
Sounds wonderful!
How beautiful and serene this area is. I love the 2nd photo because of the reflection in the water. This is a fabulous area for cabins.
Thank you, Eugenia, but speaking about reflections – you’d better check on my last post (21 pictures) from Hemsedal – Lykkja. Don’t cry! It’s only a 9 hour flight to get there! :;-)
They’re fabulous! I’m taking another stroll through this scenic wonderland.
Vakre naturbilder.
Beautiful, Thank you so much for sharing !!
Thank you, Christine!
There are lots more! In total more than 6400 ‘full screen pictures’ from Norway (provided you’re interested in nature/landscapes from Norway) 🙂 ?
Yes, I most certainly am !
These are just fabulous Svein, Such a beautiful place I can just make out the cabins, very well hidden.. 🙂 Many thanks for sharing.. Wishing you a continued wonderful weekend
Thank you, Sue! And I’ve got some more up my sleve!
Oh I am most certain you have also not only more up your sleeves, but hidden in your pockets too 🙂 lol Big smiles Svein xx
🙂 I used to, David, but there’s no difference in the respons whether I shoot a snail on my doorstep or if I produce a 75 picture-report from the Lofoten. Our world was never especially fair!
You need to go “over the ridge” more often….:-)
🙂
