Før jeg lagrer bilder, og da kan det ta litt tid før de igjen kommer til overflaten igjen, så tenkte jeg at jeg kunne publisere noen få bilder av den senere tids solnedganger . . .?
Before saving my pictures in catalogues (Because then it may be some time before they surface again), I thought perhaps I’d publish a few frames from the sunsets over the last couple of weeks . . .
.

I Just found your blog when i was looking at Google Maps to see exactly where Aal is located in relation to Eggedal. My great grandfather was from Eggedal, and his wife, my great grandmother was from Aal. I see that they are about 100 miles apart. I have been filling in a family tree for the last several days. My mother visited Eggedal in 1994 and met a cousin of hers named Torstein Skalland. Her maiden name was Skadeland, apparently the American version of Skalland. Do you live ln Eggedal? I just subscribed to your blog. I love seeing the beautiful photos of Norway. What a gorgeous country!
Good morning, Catarina, and – Welcome to my blog! Everything included, there must be something in excess of 6300 pictures published here as of today – all in so called ‘full screen’!
Regarding the distance between Eggedal and Aal it would probably be something like 85 – 90 km (or 53-55 miles) dependant on where in the valley of ‘Eggedal’ you’d be living.
I’ll teach you a simple trick in order to find your way on my blog a little easier:
First – please google ‘Norwegian counties’ and learn their geographic locations! (This is important)
When you feel that you have aquired this knowledge, please open my ‘INDEX’. (You’ll find a link under ‘Geographic Zones’ at my front page, or at the end of any post you care to open!
In my INDEX you’ll find everything listed alphabetically under their respective counties! You may also find how many pictures are included into each post and which photographer that did the job (ID-codes)
Another method (if you have a name) is to open my front page. There you find a small ‘search window’ on the right hand side. You could for example try to insert ‘Eggedal’ and then hit the ‘enter-button’. If everthing works the way it should, you’ll be presented with all my pictures from ‘Eggedal’. Or you could choose to insert ‘sunset’?
Happy hunting, and – please enjoy!
How nice of you, Eugenia! (Thank you!) I have a small project of my own going as of yesterday.
I want to find out ‘who’s who among my registered ‘followers’, which means I’ll be registering the number of ‘likes’ and comment to each one over the last 6 months. It’s gonna be a hughe job which will probably keep me occupied for months, but at the end I’ll know whom to keep and whom to delete (No errors this time) At the end I’ll probably also be able to open my full grid again.
I’ll certainly check out your blog again as soon as possible. Keep up the good work! 🙂
Such beauty for us to appreciate. Some of my beBee.com friends admire sunsets and share some real beauties.
BTW, I have a new theme for BrewNSpew, which I had to redo the entire blog (one post at a time). If you want to take a gander you will notice that you are included in my links in the right-hand column.
