Wild Strawberries

Nothing symbolizes the taste of summer just as wild strawberries do! And – they are growing throughout our garden, not planted in any way, but arrived via the wind or possibly visiting birds.

I love wild strawberries. This summer due to the cold weather, they are delayed about three weeks.

And they have a very special taste, not at all like the strawberries you buy from the farmers or in the shops.

  5. Small but very sweet fruit……those in our garden (self seeded by nature) are just about over. But still great to pick and eat like candy 🙂
