I have presented you with pictures showing how this dandelion might grow through pure asphalt, and here is the result! Ready for take-off! I wonder if anybody has ever taken the trouble to count how many seeds that will be leaving to hunt for a new place to settle down? It’s easy to understand why we can never seem to get rid of this little bugger?!
(Compliments of SRB)
Please return me to INDEX for a new destination
These are often pulled up within my allotments Svein, but at the same time I love the Dandelion. One for its beauty, both as flower and seedpod as it reminds me of my childhood years of blowing the dandelion clock..
And two, dandelions are also medicinal and I have to say I enjoy dandelion tea.. 🙂
Love and Blessings
Sue
I know it’s used in some foods, but if you don’t curb it, it’ll be taking over your garden entirely! Like this terrorism we see these days: Love won’t cut it! And if society does nothing, it’ll soon be to late!
Yes the weeds certainly need curbing along with evil doers ..
These days one doesn’t have to move far in order to find motives, but unfortunately the forcast predicts heavy rain for the next 3 days. I’m digging in. It’s going to be bad, I think!
I know it is a weed but I don’t care – I love them 🙂
Aw, I managed to answer the wrong comment here! Yes, this is a weed! Definitely!
(I tghought for a moment you were responding to my last post! 🙂 )
Ha ha ha!😄 too funny – the orange one is gorgeous and that shot great! I’m going to try some backyard shots today I think too
