Summer is here!

Hvilket herved anses motbevist! 😉
It’s June 1st! Officially the very first summer day of the year 2017! So how may we best mark such a day? Since the weather seems to be perfect, I can only think of one way:
I’ll open the door to my alternative world: The Macro World!
And since I think the bumblebee is a worthy representative for summer, it’s only fair that he’s getting the leading role in this little presentation, right?
It’s furthermore said the bumblebees (from weight and volume) cannot fly? Which now is proved to be totally wrong!

And he knows exactly where to find what he’s looking for!

Now it’s all about beeing first where food is, because from now on the competition will get fierce! The date is June 1st and the summer is on!

Stunning photos! I love to see bees at work. They are necessary buzzers and good for the overall health of Mother nature.

    Thank you, Hester!
I lived for a year in the Western Australia in my younger days, and even if it was a bit
less warm, I felt we had summer all year round!

Yes, and winter is setting in on this side of the globe. Our winters are nothing compared to yours, but I definitely prefer summer. I’ll patiently await my turn! These pictures are superb.
