In a Split Second !

Livet kan by på overraskelser – for store og for små!  Og av og til kan slike overraskelser forandre våre liv – i noen tilfeller i løpet av brøkdelen av et sekund . . .
Life may hold unexpected surprises for anyone – large or small! And in some cases will such surprises change our lives – somtimes in the fraction of a second . . . !
Hvor skal du nå?
Where are you going now?
La meg gi deg et lite puff i riktig retning, kamerat . . .
Og så ble puffet plutselig litt voldsomt! (Ooops!)

Let me give you a small puch in the right direction, mate . . .
And then the push became too hard!
(Compliments of SRB)

  1. Yes, having had several cats own me.. Nature and instincts can not be changed.. and I have had to recover many a mouse or vole from being left as a dead offering.. But also I have managed to save a few and a few young birds too.. And you are right.. Its all in a split second..

And it’s ‘nature’! I’ve notices that professional wild life photographers (not that I consider myself to be one) all over the world do NOT interfere.
The truth is that a mous bitten from a cat would surely die by infections in a matter of hours anyway!

      • Yes, very true.. True wild life photographers leave nature to nature.. Its the way it is.. And we should respect that..
But we have throughout our history interfered in nature, introducing species where they are not native.. Here we have the grey squirrel which almost wiped out the red squirrel..
We have the crayfish which was introduced which is wiping out our own small freshwater ones..
We have the Weed the Himalayan balsam which is spreading and wiping out our own native river plants..
All because Man interferes.. Just to mention a few..
