Spring Fever

We’ve had a couple of days where temperatures have reached a suprisisng 20 degrees C,
and it hasn’t passed entirely unnoticed to nature.
Surely the trees haven’t woken up just yet, but spring flowers lying at the ready have sprung to life! And a bit surprising – so has bees , butterflies and bumblebees as well!
So, of course, some pictures were called for!
Unfortunately today our nature has been exposed to some ‘old temperatures’ around
2 degrees plus and I don’t know exactly how that went home with all my new friends?
Hoping the warmt will return soon . . . (Brrr!)

Please return me to INDEX for a new destination

  1. See….I told you spring was on the way. I could get used to temperatures of 20c in March ….a bit of a bonus after the rains of February and the gales of early March 🙂

Beautiful photos and it is definitely spring here in my area. And yes, we must protect our bees.

      Thank you, Nia.
What fascinated me most was the number of bees that suddenly appeared?
Like they had been lying in wait for this? So many, in fact, that 2-3 bees appeared in each picture simultanously without me even trying. . .

This is a good news, remember what Einstein told once upon a time 🙂 Bees show us everything is fine on the earth. Welcome and Thanks, Love, nia

Yes, I agree! Only a few years ago I read that 1/3 of the bees had perished and in China they were pollinating their apple farms by hand!!! (Only China can afford that!)
Here in Norway we’re trying to get our road authorities to make flower fields along all new roads in order to increase their chances of survival. I’m checking on them every summer!
