Og her er det første!
(Tatt med mitt gamle Canon-kamera en kveld in Januar 2015)
There has been hours and hours with my camera at the ready in order to catch special moments in time. A lot of them you have seen already, but just as many you have never seen before!
And since I have a feeling that I ought to keep this blog alive untill the spring arrives, I’ve gathered a few of the last kind (Photos you haven’t seen before), and here is the first one!
(Shot with my old Canon camera back in January 2015)

“… ingen kjenner dagen helt før solen har gått ned”
Det kan du si, John, og ingen kjenner solnedgangen før solen har vært under horisonten i minst en halvtime! 🙂
I love the colors and agree with Sue, and her moody sky comment.
And perhaps my new (and most fitting) name would be something like ‘skywalker’? 🙂
But I do love shooting sunsets. Therfe’s never two alike!
Skywalker is a good idea. It adds a different touch. Yes, your photos of sunsets are unsurpassed.
Perhaps I ought to introduce a ‘co-photographer’ named ‘Skywalker’ then? 🙂
I got myself som good ones tonight. And the very best ones I got after going home and then back out!!! (Will be published tomorrow)
Red sky at Night Shepherds delight….a spell f good weather to come if the fables are right !
Nice moody shot 🙂
And we did get a spell of good weather. Today the sun is shining and the temperatures are exceeding 15 degress C!
Snap…..despite a high of 17c the Icelandic chill still reached us, fleece still needed for being out and about. But love the blue of the sky.
We’ve been warned that there could be a major volcanic eruption on Iceland coming up, but nobody seems willing to venture a specific time/month/year – but ‘soon’?!
They were saying that when we were there 2 years ago…it is I guess inevitable but just when?
On that point I cannot help you! They have been saying the same about the Yellowstone (which is supposed to be looong overdue) the difference being that in that case they expect that 1/3 of the entire mainland USA will be wiped out! One can’t sit waiting for such things to happen. If it’s any consolation the same thing is supposed to happen to the peninsula of Kamchatca one of these days. As will a direct hit from an enormous astroid at some time . . .
Nothing on this Earth of ours are men tolast forever!§
A moody sky, But what beautiful shades.. 🙂 🙂 Wishing you a Peaceful weekend Svein.. Have a good one.. 🙂
Thank you, Sue, but – I discovered that there is a distinct difference between my old Canon and the camera I’m using these days. I’ll have to be more careful when I select such samples in the future!
I am sure a professional such as your good self can see the difference.. But to me it is still a Very beautiful Sky.. xxx ❤
Oh, I’m not a professional, Sue. By no means! But I do see the difference!
And I have just published another bunch of photos ,- this time from my new camera!
I will be sure to take a look later this evening Svein.. 🙂 Off to enjoy the SUN now xx

Thank you!
