Icy Perfection

img_4333bThis morning we woke to an icy cold Norway. Just outside the sun was shining brightly from a clear blue sky, but something must havce happened to our thermometer during the night. It seemed stuck at a blistering minus 12,8 degrees C !?

At the same time I received a number of pictures from a new SN-photographer, and among them this little piece of pure art. What do you think about this?

Please return me to INDEX for a new destination

Beautiful and looks like an exquisite crystal piece. Perhaps Makasa or Lalique.

Mid-Atlantic US has had the-opposite-of-winter this year: barely any snow, only occasional freezing, today is yet another “tee-shirt day”.

Thanks for the lovely images & memories

Thanks, John! We’ve had very little snow this year ourselves! Got a meter early November, buty that was gone in 3 weeks. Since then there has been practically nothing, but the cold has been here on several occasions. Now we’re looking for an early spring! 🙂

  4. This made me remembering to the ‘desert roses’ of the Sahara, but they are not that fragile.
