The ‘MS Fram’ is the newest ship belonging to the company ‘Hurtigruten’ which is operating a traditional shipping line on the Norwegian coast. The ship was delivered in 2006 and put into cruise traffic on Greenland and Antarctica from 2007.
The ship is built to handle the traffic on the Norwegian coast, but specialized for cruise traffic in arctic surroundings! Here the ship has bewen photographed docling in Eidfjord in Hardanger.
As you may see from the advertising on the shipsides, the ship is currently engaged in cruise traffic and has not yet been introduced into normal traffic on the Norwegian coast.
It would, of course, be a dream to follow this ship on one of its trip into the arctic world, and it would undoubtedly have resulted in a thousand pictures (or more) from this part of our world, but unfortunately that’s way outside of our reach! 🙂

I’m not quite sure when these pictures were shot, but looking at the nature around, I’m guessing it’s taken sometime late May (beginning of June)
