Not quite, but still . . .

The weather forecast had predicted 4 degrees below zero today, but somebody seems to have miscalculated. We woke to a blistering minus 14,7 C degrees but with a bright sun from aa clear blue sky.
Still it wasn’t all that tempting to venture out with an electronic camera in such temperatures, but then in the evening the temperature had dropped to around 10 below zero and – the sun looked a bit promising. Unfortunately it never turned out quite like expected, but nevertheless something worth shooting?!  So here is a sequence of pictures from the sun decending below the horizon  . . .
For å variere inntrykket litt, har jeg benyttet litt forskjellige brennvidder, blendertall og lukkertider!

In order to create some variations I have been using slightly different focal lengths, apartures aand shutter speeds.
Jeg håper dere liker resultatet ?
I hope you may cherish the result?
Dette er egentlig samme bildet som over, men produsert med et annet filter –
This is actually the same picture as above, but this time shot with a different filter –
Da var morroa over for i kveld.
Then the fun is over for tonight!
(Compliments from SRB)

Please return me to INDEX for a new destination

Amazing colours of sky, fascinated me again. The weather seems so clear there… or do you use any filtre? The temperature will go down in here too, it is expected heavy snow that that said it would snow 36 hours none stop from now on!!!! we will see..and also tomorrow night the temperature will be the lowest one, minus 15 santigrat degrees… they say. Like in your country! We are not used to this kind of weather. Anyway, beautiful photographs, Thank you, have a nice day and weekend, Love, nia .

      Thank you so much, Nia!
A freezing 15 degrees in Turkey is NOT to be expected! The weather seems to be a bit out of control these days. The forcast said 0 (zero) today, but the reality of it is minus 8 degrees today as well. At least so far! But now it’s going cloudy and that signals a shift in temperatures . . .
Yes, this time I experimented with a couple of filters. You will remember I did the same a week ago and invited my viewers to tell me what they liked best. The result, however, turned out about 50/50. (So much for that!) 🙂

Today as a weather report, the lowest temperature in Turkey was measured as -39,6 in Orhaneli Bursa (in the Marmara region where İstanbul is) at 487 meters, while the lowest temperature was found at -31,1 in Ardahan’s Göle district at 2038 meters in North Eastern Anatolia. They didn’t believe these results and they will check the equipments again. We really live strange weather conditions…
Wonderful photographs, and results are so nice too. You are welcome and Thank you, Love, nia
