Art of Nature

Kanskje litt utilsiktet, men likevel . . .
This particular photo has been selected from a sequence of pictures taken of a sunset from start to finish. (Will be published later some time)
Selected because I think it stands out as a piece of art from the nature around us?!
May be not intentionally, but nevertheless . . .
(Compliments of SRB)

Ett fargefullt og nesten litt dramatisk bilde! Veldig flott og spesielt!

  2. Those colours where amazing! Loved the image! What camerasettings did you use? Did you finetune the daylight WB ?

      Thank you! I’m packing an Olympus EM-1 with a 12/24 mm lense (f 2,8)
In this case ISO 400, prioritized shutter 1/160 sec. Then I let the visual impression decide my apparture which ended somewhere between f 3,2 – 5 depending on the light/focus point.
WB was set to ‘shadows’. Did that help?

  3. I can’t read Norwegian, but I love your pictures and the natural beauty!

Not many can, but – you’re in luck! All posts in this blog are texted in English as well (You must have noticed?)
The main thing, however, is the beauty of the nature surrounding us all.

      • Thanks for pointing that out, I thought the English portion was separate from the Norwegian and a more basic description for international readers.

I should point out that these are not ‘direct translations’, but conveying the meaning as spoken in ‘everyday language’.

I will teach you something else:
On our front page – directly under our top frame – you’ll observe a small ‘search window’? You may NOT use it for ‘google searching’, but it is related to our texting!
If you for instance insert ‘Oslo’ (which is our Capital) and click ‘Enter’, you’ll be presented with all reports related to the city of Oslo!
In the lower right corner in all pictures you’ll find a 3-letter unique ‘photographers code’. By inserting such a code in the same window, clicking ‘Enter’, you’ll be presented with all photos from that particular photographer. Why don’t you try ‘MXS’ and get an unforgettable experience?

  4. Natures colour pallet cannot be beaten
