This photo is actually from yesterday, but since I suddenly got something else to show you last night, this photo is published today. At the same time I can inform you that the 14 inches of snow lying on our terrace only a few days ago, has disappeared during the night!
It has really been a short and hectic winter so far . . .!
(Compliments of SRB)
Please return me to INDEX for a new destination.
So pleased the snow has now melted… And such a beautiful sky Svein.. Your skies are always so beautiful.. Thank you for them xx
Yesterday we had 7 plus, Sue, and today overcast with plus 3 degs, but tomorrow we’re supposed to get pluss 7 degs and bright sunshine again.
It was really a very short and hectic winter this year! 🙂 Love it!
Yes I expect we are in for some colder days too.. I was just pleased All that rain we had wasn’t snow our we would have been still shoveling ourselves out lol
We were alterted to an expected rain/snow fall of a 100mm last week. If it had hit us, it would have been a full meter of wet snow, but fortunately it missed us all together. We only got something like 5 mm of rain. Not noticable! But the weather this year is certainly rather strange compared to normal.
Agreed there…. Temps here up and down daily..
Love the glowing clouds 🙂
Thank you! This time of the year I get to catch the sunups as they are coming around 9.00 am, but during the summer they arrive at 4.00 am! That’s a bit too early for me! 🙂
Oh, they’re real all right. But the overall color depends largely on the camera settings.
I generally use an ‘f’ above 12 for optimium dept and pay my dues with reduced lighting, which may be bringing on a reddish tint – depending on the ‘out of sight’ cloud layers beneath the horizon.
Sometimes I’m in luck with my choices!
We have an old folk saying….Red sky in the morning sailors warning Red sky at night sailors delight….whatever they all look great and mostly unreal. 🙂
