River Atna

It came to me – rather abruptly – the River Atna. I kind of jumpedf at the colors which seemed rather bright green. However, I don’t think I have ever seen watermore purified and clean?! In  retrospect it looks like the river bed consist of som kind of green clay (or mud) and the seagrass or starr growing there was pure black! Which made for several unexpected contrasts! I only wish that I’d gotten the opportunity to shoot these pictures in sunshine . . .!

When you’re looking at this picture, it would be easy to get the impression that the left side of the river is  calm and deep, whilst the right hand side is contaminated by pollen or road dust? But it’s quite the other way around! The black areas are some kind of sea weed.

But – it is possible to to take this trip ‘in person’?  The advantage being thatr you may spend as much time as you want on this river bank. (I’ll have to press on!)

    Hi Robert,
You hit the nail on the head: ‘Peaceful’ is the word! However, this road leads to a very popular view-point for one of our best ‘National Parks’, thus there will be some traffic on the road, but –
it’s a free country, and you’re free to follow the stream on foot?! Then you might be admiring the scene for a full day without seeing anybody at all!

Beautiful! It looks so peaceful too.
