Hardanger – Kvanndal Panorama

Once again we have the pleasure of presenting you with a fantastic panorama shot from the region of Hardanger. Down to your left you may see the old ferry port of ‘Kvanndal’.
Before the new ‘Hardanger Bridge’ was built, ferries were handling the traffic from Bergen
transporting cars and passengers via ‘Utne’ and onwards to ‘Kinsarvik’ located on the
‘Lofthus- side’ of the Hardangerfjord. Today the ferries are only handling the traffic across to Utne and onward to the city of Odda. The fjord to the left in the picture is the ‘Granvinfjord’.
(Compliments of SUL)

Please return me to INDEX for a new destination
