Flaam – Panorama

From high above the Aurland fjord you may get a panorama view of the fjord as well as the waypoint ‘Flaam’ located at the very end of this fjord. From here it’s possible to take a trip with the renowned ‘Flaam Railway’ which takes passengers up to the ‘Myrdal station og the ‘Bergen Railway’ and back down to Flaam!

  1. This took my breath away.. 🙂 And see, I did click the link.. LOL..

  2. Seenorway says:

These train carriages are pretty old, you know, and as the number of windows are somewhat limited, there will unfortunately always be a problem in that respect. What one perhaps ought to do is selling numbered seats – one ticket up and another down. Then you’d be having a window seat at least one way, but the you risk a window on the wrong side of the train and see nearly nothing at all?!

  3. 12 years ago I took the wonderful Flaam railway however, it was summer and the pushy tourist hogging seats on the train was a bit disappointing. My son and I ended up in the vestibule watching this fantastic view through the small long windows. Still, I loved it. Thanks for sharing this beautiful photo and bringing back the memories for me.
