Vi befinner oss på Strømmen; et sted som er i ferd med å gro sammen med Lillestrøm og som igjen står i fare for å bli slukt av Oslo. Strømmen har idag ca 11 600 innbyggere og ligger under Skedsmo kommune.
Det som er spesielt på Strømmen, er kanskje kirken? Strømmen kirke er en langkirke i ny-romansk stil, bygget i stein i 1929 og har plass til 330 mennesker. Hovedinngangen ligger til venstre i bildet.
We’re at the settlement of Stroemmen within the municipality of Skedsmo; a place slowly
growing together with the city of Lillestroem, which again is threatened to be ‘eaten’ by Oslo! The settlement of Stroemmen has a population of approximately 11 600 people.
So what’s special for ‘Stroemmen’? Nothing much, perhaps except for the church?
The Stroemmen church is a traditional ‘long church’ in a Neo–Romanesque style, built in stone in 1929 and seats 330 people! The main entrance is located around the corner to your left!
