Approaching Geiranger

Dette bildet er tatt et godt stykke utenfor Geiranger. Den skarpe observatør vil kunne se en svak antydning til Ørnevegen opp fra Geiranger avtegne seg i den blågrønne fjellsiden
langt der borte . . .
This picture has been taken quite some distance away from the settlement of Geiranger.
The sharp observer will be able to see a faint hint of ‘Oernevegen’ (trans.: ‘Eagle Rd.) up from Geiranger emerge in the blue-green mountainside
far over there. . .

Please return me to INDEX for a new destination.

Right off the bat I couldn’t say, Eugenia. Nothing comes to mind, but I’m sure locals have found their spots. Therfe is also a new sport getting hold combining slalom skies with a paraglider and virtually gliding down the slopes sometimes on skis and sometimes by air. Fascinating! But you really need to know what you’re doing!

Stunning peaks! I can imagine this scene in the winter with lots of snow. Is there an area for skiers nearby?
