From a position high up, we give you a panorama shot of the Svolvaer harbour in Lofoten.
Unfortunately the syn was unwilling to participate! 🙂
And for those interested: We have published a full photo report from the city of Svolvaer
including 37 pictures!
(Compliments of SRB )
Please return me to INDEX for a new destination.
bello, caratteristico paesaggio norvegese
Yes it’s rather cold, but if the air is very dry, it isn’t too bad. I think the local record is something like 51 or 52 degrees C, but the you’ll need natural wool closest to your skin and limit time of exposure as best you can.
Wow. Norway is beautiful
Thank you, Rajiv –
Svolvaer is located pretty far towards the North in our country and this is the part of our country where the sun never goes down – at least through the summer season.
On the other hand, you won’t be seeing the sun at all through winter !!! 🙂
If you want to see more of the place, try this link (37 pictures)

Stunning place… Wow
Lofoten as a whole is a picturesque part of our country – and surprisingly mild taking into consideration the northerly location. The temperatures through winter are usually from minus 3 till plus 4 degrees C, but only a 100 miles away you may experience minus 35 degrees C or colder!
Oh wow. That is some variation. I have experienced minus 35, so I know how cold that can be!
