It may be a bit hard to anticipate when there’ll be a sunset worth photographing, but having been at it for some decades, I think I’m about to get the hang of it?
And yesterday looked kind of promising!

The cloudlayers looks kind of dark, mainly because the sun currently is located on the other side of the cloud layers. With a bit of luck, a sinking sun could light up the underside of the cloud layers, however, this might not always happen.

That depends on the actual height of the cloudlayers, and not the least what kind of cloudlayers to be found under the horizon!
By zooming closer, one may create a different visual effect.

It may look as my huch was right? Here we may see that the underside of the cloudlayer has becom kind of rosa, at least partly, and it may become more so . . .?
This is the time where many would have packed their gear and started for home?

But – that would possibly have been the wrong decision to make?  You would for instance  have missed out on this picture?  It really didn’t last for very long, but that’s probably why many people don’t get picturess like this one?
Eller som dette?
Or like this one?
Eller dette?  Ja, jeg tror dere forstår meg:  Det er ikke over før det er virkelig over!
Dvs. ‘mørkt’!🙂

Or like this? Yes, I think you understand my message: It’s not ‘over’ before it’s really over!
I.e. ‘dark’! 🙂

      Hi, Rob –
and welcome to my blog! You’d better make yourself a big pot of tea before your setting out on a digital journey of Norway?
Norwegian you may learn at some other time?🙂 But – please notice that there is a Norwegian text as well as that of English.
May be you can pick something up anyway?
Please remember my advise on the ‘INDEX’. There is a return link to INDEX in the bottom of every post. Here it’s easy to see the geographic
location, the number of pictures included and – which photographer that did the job.
      Please enjoy!
