Voss – Oppheim

I Voss kommune ligger tettstedet Oppheim.
1F3A4734In the municipality of Voss lies the settlement ‘Oppheim’. Here some kilometers north og the city of Voss lies ‘Lake Oppheim’ and around it a number of tourist facilities.
The nature is beautiful here and during winter the snow conditions are optimum.
The red building on the little peninsula is the former Framnes Hotel, later a medical facility and now of late bought for other purposes.
The low grey buildings closer to the water are special care homes for the elderly of this municipality.

  1. Lovely for the residents of the aged care home to have such an outlook!

Well, actually they have not. Not quite. They are living in the grey buildings at the waterfront on the little peninsula portruding into the lake, but the surroundings are still very pleasant!

Nydelig bilde!
