Just another one –

From time to time ‘the sky’ sends me a signal that something is about to happen, and that I ought to take a  closer look.  And more than often it evolves into something nice, but nothing much other than ordinary. Then again on other occasions, it might turn into a spectacular ‘light show’ that I wouldn’t have liked to miss. So I’ll have to go see – every time! This time I judge it to a 6 on a scale to 10 ?

  3. What I like about the sky is that it can be a cloudless day– and still be not ordinary. Thanx for sharing your post and photo. Peace.

      Thanks to you, Loujen –
Yes, the sky will never be exacly the same, no matter how long you watch it, and if you do as I do: Photographing the rim of the skies surrounding the sun itself, you’ll find a multitude of colors (a rainbow effect) that will surprise you!

If I’m in my home office working and the Bergen area sunsets are shaping up like this one in your photo, I set my timer to go off every five minutes or so to remind me to get up and check the progress of the show.

Sometimes they stay at the 6 on a scale of 10 like this one, other times they explode to an 11. Either way, they’re not to be missed. Norway does put on some spectacular shows for us, doesn’t she? 🙂

She certainly does, Cindi, and as you have experienced: There’s no night at 6 pm like what you find elsewhere in the world. And if you get far enought to the north there is sunlight 24/7 for a good part of the year! 🙂
