Mellom 7 fjell

See Norway har igjen fått en ny bidragsyter som fra tid til annen vil hjelpe oss med å sette Norge på kartet. Og ikke uventet bor han i Bergens-området:
‘Byen mellom de 7 fjell’!
I dag åpner vi med en liten kolleksjon panorama bilder tatt fra ‘Gullstein’.

SeeNorway has obtained yet another contributor which from time to time will help out in putting Norway on the map, so to speak. And – not unexpectedly he’s living in the Bergen area: ‘The city between 7 mountains’! Today we are opening up with a small collection of three panorama shots taken from the ‘Gullstein Ridge’ (Golden Stone Ridge)
Her ser vi ut over ‘Fyllingsdalen’ med ‘Varden Amfi’ og noe lenger bak: Håkonsvern Marinestasjon. Bakerst i bildet ligger øya Sotra.

Here we’re looking across ‘Fyllingsdalen’ with the athletic field ‘Varden amfi’ and the Naval base: ‘Haakonsvern’. The island in the far back is ‘Sotra’.

Her ser vi tvers over Fyllingsdalen mot friluftsområdet ‘Kanada-skogen’, Nordnesdalen, Lyderhorn og Damsgårdsfjellet (som er to av Bergens berømte 7 fjelltopper).

Here we are looking across ‘Fyllingsdalen’ to a leisure area called the ‘Canada forrest’, Nordnes valley and ‘Lyderhorn’ and the small moutain ‘Damsgårdsfjellet’ which are two of the 7 peaks surrounding Bergen.
Fra Gullstein over Fyllingsdalen mot Haukeland Sykehus samt Ulrikken med sin gondolbane som bringer bergensere til fjells på et øyeblikk.

From ‘Gullstein Ridge’ over ‘Fyllingsdalen, towards Haukeland Hospital and to the ‘Ulrikken’ with its gondola that will bring the local population into the mountains i no time at all!
