Seriously –

When we in Sept./Oct. 2012 introduced a blog with the ambition to to present Norwegian cities and settlements with best possible images, we had no ideas that we might get into trouble underway, but – life don’t always develop the way one expects it to.
Already in Dec. 2012 I received a cancer diagnosis.  It has, however, in no way changed our plans. Even so, we have to take into consideration what this means,  especially  altered time consumption for treatments and possible side effects of such.

As if this wasn’t enough, I have also been notified of a confirmed another diagnosis, of which I don’t know enough to predict neither treatment nor time consumption. It’s still safe to assume that this situastion also will have an impact on our future!

However, as subscribers to our blog you have a certain right to information as to the future of this blog, and I have  threrefore chosen to be quite frank about the situation.
It should be appearant to all that our future production capacity will be  somewhat reduced?  ‘Reduced’ because I writing this have no knowledge how future side effects of  planned radiation treatments will affect my ability to work as usual, nor do I know any details about a future treatment of my secondary diagnosis. Still I hope to produce a photo report once in a while depending on the situation!

I hope that my friend and good colleague, ‘Vestlendingen’, will succeed in keeping the wheels turning, but I’m also aware of the work it’ll take. Therefore it’s realistic to expect a somewhat reduced activity on our part for the next 6 months – unfortunately!
It’s our sincere hope that those that have subscribed to our blog will choose to retain the subscription in wait for future photo reports? We’ll be doing our utmost to return to you in full force as soon as we possibly can, presumably April/May 2014.
Meanwhile we will try to invest some time in general marketing of our blog. After all, there are already nearly 2100 ‘full screen photos’ published! Please stay tuned!

Definitely take care of yourself & your health first. I will keep you in my thoughts for your treatments to go smoothly & for you to be well. Please try to keep us posted on how you are doing. I’ll be here rooting for you & I will continue to follow & catch you as you do get a chance to post.
    PeAce-
    RoSy 🙂

    • Seenorway says:

Thank you so much, RoSy. I expect it to go well. In fact, I won’t accept anything less 🙂
And I’ll definitely be posting pictures, but – then I don’t have the foggiest how this will affect me in the long run, so I’m giving notice 🙂
May be all will be normal for weeks, and may be not? Unchartered territory to me! So I’ll be moving catiously –

Strength for the future I like your blog

I couldn’t click LIKE to sad news like this. I love your pictures , and your blog, of course, one of the few that I like looking at. Norway is so pretty and scenic.

    please get well soon.

    • Seenorway says:

Your presence is my reward, Renxkyoko. The fact that you’re staying put, and – there will certainly be more pictures, but possibly they won’t be coming as rapid as before? I just don’t know. (Haven’t done this before 🙂 )
But I won’t be selling my camera. In fact, I’ll probably be buying a new one just to make a protest! 🙂 Thanks for commenting on the situation!

  5. Oh, Dear… I have come to expect to see the wonderful images of Norway here. Please know that my best wishes and thoughts are with you during your treatment. I will be following regardless of the frequency of your posts. Please let us know the progress in your treatment. Just leave a note when you feel up to it. Pictures are not necessary! 🙂 Your contribution as ambassador for Norway has been a huge success, you know! 🙂

    • Seenorway says:

      Hi George,

I should thank you for your compassion, but you, know when it comes down to it, it isn’t all that much one can do, except decide not to bend over! And yes, I’ll certainly drop a word or two whenever I can. I may even treat you to some photos if the chance present itself. (It can’t be all bad 😀 ) But I know we are not created in order to be self illuminative 🙂

And I’m sure there will be a lot of new pictures coming, only not quite as often as before.

As you know: ‘Broken expectations are the mother of all disappointments!’ (And it’s easy to loose friends as well as subscribers) You ought to be informed, and now you are! This is gonna go away! Just wait and see!
