Vi mennesker tar ofte ting for gitt.
We humans often take things for granted! Of course, the sun will light up our existence!
Of course, the vegetation around us will be exposed to its daily dose of lifegiving sunshine.
Of course, the farmers crop will grow! And of course, bees and bumblebees will do their job making sure that the crops of tomorrow will be there to harvest. Or . . . ?
How many of us actually offer a thought as to what would happen if it just didn’t?
Not that it would ever physically disappear, but if the sunrays were filtered away by heavy clouds of volcanic ashes? We have seen it happen before! And that we have little or no control what-so-ever when it comes to the forces of nature. The quicker we may learn that, the faster we may focus on ways and methods to live through tougher times to come instead of waisting time and efforts on religious disagreements?!
Idag gir jeg dere tre ganske forskjellige solnedganger. Forskjellige steder. Forskjellige lys, men – alle på vår felles Jord.
Today I give you 3 quite different sunsets. Different places, different ‘light’, but still on our planet Earth, which we all share together!
And wouldn’t it be fantastic if we could all forget trivial differences that, when it comes right down to it, and in a global perspective, means next to nothing, and instead live our lives -the only one we’ve got – as families and in the best of friendships as good neighbours? Wouldn’t our ‘Planet Earth’ be a much better place to live? And wouldn’t we all benefit imensely if we did?

Svein, sunsets through the trees and reflected on water, some of my favorites! Extraordinary photos! 💛 Christine (Elizabeth)
Hi Chris,
Two of these photos are actually ‘sunups’ 🙂
The middle (redish) one is a February picture from the ‘Drammensfjord’ (close to where I live) and the reflections are from an ice covered surface. But I liked them!
Striking sunsets. I am quite enamored with the amazing texture in the skylines you also captured. Nicely done ~ BB.
Thank you, BB. There are more than 1800 full screen pictures displayed here, so please enjoy!
May I ask: Are you operating out of the US?
Hello Seenorway,
Thank you so much for such a warm welcome and invite. I will continue to browse and enjoy your stunning photography.
Yes I am a US resident, live and work in the US. I am in fact in Oregon state, my native home in the great Pacific Northwest.
I believe you visited Guitarman Pablo Camara’s blog and so not to be confusing let me explain that Pablo is from Zarate Argentina. ( I manage the PR for him and his music)
Hope that helps answer your question. ~ BB
Wonderful post my friend and the pictures are wonderful, your spiritual eye surely always captures the moment! Blessings!
Thank you, Wendell. (This time the pictures were my own 🙂 )
Pleased that you liked the post. There is ment to be a serious undertone to it – I hope?
it would be fantastic
if we could all forget
trivial differences …
Hey Frizztext,
Yes wouldn’t it really? Take Palestine for instance. They have been going or each others throats for more than 60 years!!!
And nothing seems to have changed? Kids brought up in a world learning to hate? What kind of a life will they have?
I another 50 years it may still all be the same? And how many years will it take before the wounds from the Syrian conflict has healed?
For how many years must the Iranian people be supressed? And the North Koreans? I feel I could go on for ever –
There is only one way out of the problems: Forget and forgive! Restart! Like we all do with our computers?! (Back to Ground Zero! )
Lovely pictures and thoughts.
Thank you. I just felt it neccessary to put them into words, not that anybody will listen to what I have to say.
But I do believe I’m right! (I have lived a while)
Tankevekkande ord og nydelige bilder dette Argus. Ynskjer deg ein god sommar!

The last picture is chosen to bring you back from the dark 😀
