Her ute i havgapet finner man også Møysalen Nasjonalpark.
The community of Hadsel is located in Vesterålen, Northern Norway, and is the southermost community in this region. The population is slightly above 8000 people spread out over 566 sq.kilometers. Out here by the ocean we also find the ‘Møysalen National Park’. Nature is abundant! So what’s more natural then to give you all a taste of what you may observe if you ever come to this part of the world?
Here an evening atmosphere from the harbour in Melby on the southern side of ‘Hadseløya’
In Melbu they also have a leisure craft marina
Her et vakkert bilde fra ‘Bølandet’ like utenfor Melbu.
A nice picture from ‘Bølandet’ just outside of Melbu
Hit ut går den velkjente ‘Kjærlighetsstien’ –
Out here we find ‘Kjærlighetsstien’ (The walk of Love’)
And no one will denie that the surroundings will enhance what ever feelings you may have for your partner
En ‘Ja-benk’? (Rødbrun for anledningen)
A ‘Yes-bench’?
This picture is from ‘Hersandvollen’ on Haug (Hadsel),- very popular in the summer!

Your country is beautiful, what is the exchange rate for the dollar?
Exchange rates? Well it seems to change every week 🙂 but I guess it’s been about an average of NOK 5,80 to the US dollars lately
Nice to now 🙂 I visited Sweden yrs ago and I love the whole region..
Hi Daniella,
With ‘region’ I suppose you mean ‘Scandinavia’? There is an all together different currency in Sweden, but honestly I don’t know exactly how it stands up to the US dollar. Guessing somewhere around 6,35-6,50. But when it comes to ‘nature’ there are no ‘fjords’ in Sweden! Well, small inlets, of course, but nothing like the ones in Norway which might be 400 miles long and with snow covered moutains to go with it 🙂
So beautiful. The evening atmosphere is so peaceful and calm.
You’re thinking of the ‘lovers walk’? 😀
