Jeg kan dessverre ikke si nøyaktyig hvor høyt over fjorden Bergheim ligger, men et anslag ville nok ligge i overkant av 300 meter
Here lies the mountain farm ‘Bergheim’ on a mountain ledge high above the ‘Luster fjord’ boasting a fantastic view in all directions. Unfortunately I can’t tell you exactly how high above the fjord Bergheim lies, but an estimate would be around 1000 ft.

Great place for a farm again. The map tells me that Bergheim is 355 m above sea level. Really beautiful place. Ha en fin ukestart!
I didn’t see that, but I found a trip described by the local tourist board. There they were ‘passing Bergheim in 300 meters height’, but I tried to measure by eye standing on the other side of the fjord. I see I wasn’t missing all that much?
I’ am reading the book “Ut og stjaele hester” from Per Petterson – in german language surely.

How nice! Looking for pictures from any particular place? As I recall this book is told from the area called ‘Finnskogen’ something like a 2 hour drive south of the city of Elverum, but it’s a big area. Come summer I could probably get you som pictures from there. Elverum is on my list anyway!
